About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician Trainee performs duties that do not require the professional training and judgment of a pharmacist. The technician trainee will learn and demonstrate the mastery of filling medication orders, deliveries to patient care and ancillary areas, managing technology including PYXIS packer and PYXIS control cabinets, effective operation of the department while staffing as team leader, and sterile and non-sterile product preparation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Obtain Pharmacy Tech license with the State of Vermont Board of Pharmacy before the start of employment
- Achieve National Certification within two years of date of hire

- Pharmacy experience preferred or related work experience
