Pharmacy Tech Supervisor
About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will supervise all pharmacy technician staff under the supervision of the licensed pharmacist. They will assist in the promotion and delivery of quality, safe, rational and effective pharmaceutical services to the patients, and health care practitioners of Hi Desert Medical Center. Furthermore, he/she will maintain adequate medication stock levels and proper storage of medications. They will also assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluation of pharmacy technicians. Requirements
- CA Pharmacy Technician Registration
- High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
- 3-year hospital pharmacy experience or completion of an accredited technician school
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate good command of basic mathematical calculations
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Automatic Dispensing Machine (Omnicell, Pyxis, etc) experience
- IV Experience
- Medication safety and med rec process
- CA Pharmacy Tech License
Responsibilities
