We are searching for a talented Pharmacy Tech-Oncology. This role is 40 hours per week, day shift, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm, located at the Cancer Center in Fairhaven, MA. The position requires willingness to work at both Oncology Center sites: Fall River and Fairhaven as needed.

Requirements

High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification is required within 18 months of hire.
One year of related work experience is required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Nice To Haves

Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
three years of related work experience is preferred.
Previous clean-room and/or oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, Pharmacy Oncology or Designee and direct supervision of the Pharmacist, perform a wide variety of duties involving responsibility in preparing products using aseptic techniques and batching medications following USP797/800 guidelines as well as performing all cleaning per guidelines.
Other duties include the purchasing of supplies and medications and generating automated dispensing machine (ADM) reports with appropriate follow-up.
