About The Position
The Pharmacy Tech Level one practices the profession of pharmacy in an environment that promotes patient care by philosophy and policy. The pharmacy technician supports prescription fulfillment, medication inventory, pharmacy operations, and customer-facing pharmacy initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality and a clean, orderly, professional environment.

Responsibilities
- Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory.
- Input customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
- Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
- Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
- Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
- Stock prescription medication.
- Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
- Prioritize workload.
- Use effective communication skills and act as an agent of change.
- Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
