About The Position
The Lead Pharmacy Technician provides both operational and team leadership support within a high-volume pharmacy services environment. This role serves as a key resource for pharmacy technician staff, helping ensure quality performance, workflow efficiency, and exceptional service while supporting daily pharmacy operations.
Requirements
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with pharmacy systems and computer-based applications
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting team performance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or team lead experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting mail-order, specialty, managed care, or high-volume pharmacy operations
- Experience with remote workforce environments
- Prior involvement in quality assurance, performance monitoring, or process improvement initiatives
