About The Position

Responsible for preparing medication admixtures in IV solutions, unit-dose syringes, chemotherapy medications, and compounded solutions or medications for critical care and operating room satellite areas. Maintains adequate stock levels in assigned areas and follows standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Works with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practices. Performs Pharmacy Technician duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures.
• PTCB certification.
