Pharmacy Technician II (BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy) Seeking Experienced Pharmacy Technicians. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Requirements
- Requires an active, professional license, State Pharmacy Technician Certification or National Certification based on applicable state(s) requirements, to practice as a Pharmacy Technician within the scope of practice in a state or territory of the United States.
- Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience ; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

- Specialty Pharmacy Experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Verifies member information and inputs data for the pharmacists.
- Serves as mentor for less experienced staff.
- Serves as department representative on intra-departmental initiatives.
- Assists in formal training of associates and process improvement initiatives.
- Conducts reviews by utilizing appropriate scripted algorithms in compliance with department guidelines and consistent with the members eligibility, benefits and contract.
- Develops working partnerships with physicians, healthcare service providers, and internal and external customers.
- Consults with clinical reviewers.
- Refers treatment plans to peer clinical reviewers in accordance with established criteria/guidelines.
