Hours: Per Diem Shift: Flexible shifts and hours, 6:00am - 12:00am with weekend and holiday rotation; 1 weekend per month required and holidays assigned by leadership Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA
Requirements
- High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
- Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) is required within 18 months of hire.
- One year of related work experience is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Nice To Haves
- Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
- three years is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with department policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.
