This role is located at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. The Pharmacy Technician performs pharmacy-related functions under the direction of a Pharmacist, in compliance with department policies and procedures, to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.
Requirements
- High school graduate or the equivalent is required.
- Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) is required within 18 months of hire.
- One year of related work experience is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Nice To Haves
- Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
- Three years of related work experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
