About Us - Pharmacy The Inpatient Pharmacy is a fast paced, high energy department that works closely with practitioners and nursing staff to provide quality care for patients at Freeman Health System We play a vital role in patient care by ensuring medication availability, delivering directly to the patient care areas and maintaining inventory in medication dispensing machines throughout the system The Pharmacy consists of over eighty energetic, hard-working, compassionate team members Schedule:Full-Time What You'll Do Responds to the needs of the department, nursing and physician staff and patients. Ensures delivery and availability of medications to patient care areas, performs necessary pharmacy module functions, monitors functionality of pharmacy equipment and performs necessary routine maintenance, assists in inventory management and performs clerical duties as required. Requirements

  • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) national certification or Exam for Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).
  • Registration with valid licensure as a Pharmacy Technician with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy or current Missouri Pharmacy Intern License.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean Driving Record

Responsibilities

  • Responds to the needs of the department, nursing and physician staff and patients.
  • Ensures delivery and availability of medications to patient care areas
  • Performs necessary pharmacy module functions
  • Monitors functionality of pharmacy equipment and performs necessary routine maintenance
  • Assists in inventory management
  • Performs clerical duties as required.
