Pharmacy Technician I- Pharmacy Department Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. We have a high level of safety with experienced staff. 24/7 pharmacist and technician coverage of a 386-bed facility managing 4 facilities (Texas Health Neighborhood Care and Wellness Emergency Department, Seay Psychiatric Hospital, Texas Health Plano Pediatric Imaging, and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital). Leadership supportive of individual and departmental education and growth. Fantastic team and ancillary department support. Requirements

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
Pharmacy Tech Hospital experience is strongly preferred
RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire is required
Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computers, the ability to adapt to various software systems, and basic math including conversions, proportions, ratios, and algebra.
The ability to work alone and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

IV Certification Upon Hire is preferred

Responsibilities

Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location.
Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation.
Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives.
Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time.
