We’re looking for a Central Fill Pharmacy Technician who is dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of a fast-paced pharmacy distribution environment. What You’ll Do As a Central Fill Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the preparation and distribution of medications to our hospital partners.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license
• Ability to maintain accuracy, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and commitment to safety and quality

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Completion of a board-certified pharmacy technician program
• One year of pharmacy technician experience

Responsibilities

• Fill hospital Pyxis medication orders using pharmacy software with a high level of accuracy
• Pick, prepare, and repackage medications for distribution
• Operate unit-dose packaging and other pharmacy equipment
• Restock medications and supplies received from vendors
• Perform inventory control, including identifying expired medications and coordinating returns or disposal
• Prepare, secure, and load medication totes for delivery
• Maintain safe and secure medication handling throughout the fulfillment process
• Serve as a backup driver for medication deliveries when needed
• Work closely with pharmacists, fellow technicians, and other team members to accomplish daily goals
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes, safety, and efficiency
