About The Position

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin as a leader on our pharmacy team! We are seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead and supervise pharmacy technicians, provide day-to-day operational oversight, staffing coordination, and performance management. This role will oversee onboarding, training, and competency development to ensure staff readiness and regulatory compliance. The supervisor will monitor performance metrics and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery. They will plan, implement, and evaluate operational projects and process improvements in collaboration with pharmacy leadership and interdisciplinary teams. The position involves maintaining and optimizing workflow systems, automation, and technology to support safe and efficient medication-use processes. Ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards (e.g., TJC, DEA, USP), while supporting medication safety initiatives and providing operational support as needed is crucial. The role includes overseeing medication distribution and delivery operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient medication dispensing and transport, which includes oversight of Hospital at Home operations. Additionally, the supervisor will manage decentralized automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs), including inventory optimization, restocking processes, and discrepancy resolution. Ensuring the service level of medication storage locations and overseeing Technician Check Technician (TCT) programs to ensure standardized workflows, staff competency, and safe medication-use practices are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Three years of relevant work experience, or PGY1 plus one year of relevant work experience, or PGY2.
• Licensed as a pharmacist in Wisconsin or eligible (must be licensed by start date).

Nice To Haves

• Residency training: PGY2 in pharmacy specialty area of oversight.
• Degree: Master of Science in Pharmacy Administration, Master of Health Care Administration, Master of Business Administration, or other relevant graduate degree.
• PGY2 in specialty area of oversight plus at least two years of relevant work experience in an academic medical center.
• Board certified through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in specialty are of oversight and/or certification in pharmacy informatics or applicable Epic® applications required to perform job functions. If not certified upon hire, must be certified by 18 months of start date if applicable certification exists.
