About The Position
Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do. We’re looking to provide practical experience for future pharmacists in a community pharmacy. Our retail / community environment will provide real world training to enhance academic experience. Students will learn about the expanding roles of the community pharmacist.
Requirements
- Must be a pharmacy student
- Passionate about providing an exceptional shopping experience for Pharmacy customers
- Ability to enhance communication skills with patients, employees, and other health care workers
- Ability to enhance students' knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling skills
- Ability to learn skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy
- Prepare future pharmacists to be successful in a community setting
