About The Position

Boomer Solutions of Tulsa, a member of the Guardian family of pharmacies, is hiring a Pharmacy STAT Driver to deliver pharmacy orders to facilities in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role works assigned routes with time-sensitive delivery requirements, ensuring deliveries are accurate and timely while protecting patient information under applicable federal and company privacy rules. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.; employees must live within 30 minutes of the pharmacy. The position offers on-call pay. The driver determines efficient routes, checks totes before departure, delivers orders, exchanges emergency kits and IV boxes as needed, and picks up returns and refused medications using safety protocols. The role also requires accurate end-of-shift paperwork, courteous interactions with clients, coordination with team members, monitoring vehicle maintenance, and completing assigned deliveries within the shift while following traffic regulations and patient privacy instructions. Ground travel and flexible hours are required. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid state driver’s license.
Must be at least 21 years old.
At least 2 years of related experience; an advanced degree may substitute for experience.
Advanced computer skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to solve problems with minimal direction.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while meeting strict deadlines.
Quality-minded approach, including identifying errors and asking questions when information appears inaccurate.
Ability to use GPS and hands-free cell phones.
Ability to read and follow directions and maps in English.
Must live within 30 minutes of the pharmacy.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to travel by ground.

Responsibilities

Determine the most efficient and logical route for each assigned route.
Check facility totes to ensure each order is complete before departure.
Deliver the correct totes to facilities in a timely manner.
Exchange facility emergency kits and IV boxes as needed.
Pick up return items and refused medications when required, following safety protocols.
Complete paperwork and filing requirements accurately at the end of each shift.
Maintain a pleasant and respectful demeanor with clients.
Work with team members in special circumstances and remain flexible as needed.
Monitor vehicle maintenance, advise the supervisor when service is needed, and take vehicles for assigned service.
Complete deliveries within the assigned shift while complying with traffic regulations.
Follow patient privacy instructions precisely.
Perform other essential duties as assigned.
