About The Position

The Pharmacy Shipping Associate is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned. This role involves performing routine and professional pharmacy functions, accurately packing and shipping prescription orders, stocking freezers, and ensuring adherence to all procedures and legal guidelines. The associate will also perform quality assurance checks, maintain a clean work site, and manage inventory of shipping supplies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of logistics experience
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to lift 20lbs
  • Ability to work in a standing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously
  • Ability to perform repetitious work accurately
  • Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
  • Ability to learn from a variety of techniques
  • Ability to follow established process flows
  • Ability to work effectively in highly stressful situations, exhibiting flexibility in changing situations

  • One (1) year of previous pharmacy experience with exposure to fulfillment of prescription orders

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.
  • Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs.
  • Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.
  • Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.
  • Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site.
  • Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station.
