About The Position

The Pharmacy Cashier plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for patients while supporting pharmacy operations. The Pharmacy Cashier works closely with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to support daily workflow and enhance customer service. This position focuses on handling prescription and over-the-counter point of sale transactions, assisting customers with over-the-counter (OTC) products and maintaining a clean and organized zone area. This position works collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, providing exemplary front-line customer service. This position is OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) category BBP2, TB2.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Previous experience as a retail cashier.
Relevant experience includes working in fast paced customer service retail setting, cashiering, and payment at time-of-service transactions.
High degree of attention to detail in cashier responsibility.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and to meet HIPAA requirements.
Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
