Pharmacy Purchasing Technician

About The Position
The successful candidate will possess attention to detail required to observe differences in names of closely related pharmaceuticals. The Purchasing Technician must be able to balance high volume workload with deadlines without sacrificing accuracy and demonstrate ability to accomplish additional duties with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- PTCB Certified or within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities
- Daily shelving of the pharmaceutical order
- Rotating stock in automated dispensing cabinets to minimize expiring pharmaceuticals
- Gathering stock to be directed to other hospitals
- Monthly review of pharmacy stock for out of date pharmaceuticals
