About The Position

Pharmacy/Cashier Teammate supports pharmacists by processing customer orders, ensuring a safe and efficient customer service experience, and performing general housekeeping duties. This role involves assisting with prescription preparation, customer data entry, order processing, and potentially working on the front end to scan and process customer orders.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation of prescriptions, including retrieving medications, counting or pouring medications, labeling containers, and pricing prescriptions.
• Provide a friendly, helpful, easy, and safe shopping experience for all customers.
• Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Pharmacy operations, safety, and sanitation.
• Enter customer data into the computer, maintain accurate records, and complete all necessary paperwork relating to the pharmacy.
• Process orders, including filling prescriptions and accepting payment.
• Fulfill general housekeeping duties.
• Minimize shrink through proper handling and storing of product.
• May also work on the front end, responsible for accurately scanning and/or processing all customer orders.
