Organization: VMG Pharmacy Job Summary: Plans, develops and executes ongoing program(s) that impact a significant segment of the organization under occasional guidance. . Position Highlights This is a leadership position overseeing the Clinic Liaison team which is responsible for coordinating and evaluating medication-related regulatory compliance for approximately 300 Vanderbilt Health ambulatory clinics. The Program Manager oversees a team of System Support Pharmacy Technicians (direct reports), coordinates monthly MEDS Surveys for clinics with medication inventories, serves as a pharmacy representative for Environment of Care Surveys, works with Vanderbilt Operational Services (VOS) to onboard new clinics and pharmacy sites, manages temperature excursion response for clinic medication inventories, manages medication recall response, and serves as the expert contact for clinic managers, assisting them with medication-related questions and problem solving. The Clinic Liaison team is imperative to ensuring clinics operate within the rules and regulations of the law and provide safe, effective patient care for Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas. Traveling to each ambulatory clinic every 6 months is required. Key Responsibilities Provides budgetary management to the program. Provides training and guidance for individuals supporting the program. Promotes growth and expansion of the program. Oversees the creation, coordination and execution of the program.
