This position involves providing pharmacy products and services to customers in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies. Key duties include assisting with prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders, stocking and securing pharmacy supplies, entering prescription information, and filling prescriptions. The role also requires maintaining and securing all necessary paperwork and documentation. Additionally, the intern will provide excellent customer service by acknowledging customers, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services while ensuring a safe shopping environment. The intern will operate equipment such as cash registers, receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the pharmacy area, and ensure the pharmacy is kept clean and presentable.
