About The Position
The MCPHS University / Atrius Health Pharmacy Practice Residency is a structured, one-year postgraduate educational and training experience that fosters the development of advanced knowledge and skill in the delivery of pharmaceutical services within a managed care organization. The fundamental goal of the residency is to attract and develop pharmacists whose talents and motivation indicate a strong potential for assuming leadership roles in managed care organization pharmacy services. The residency consists of experiences and rotations in key areas of clinical practice, administration, and academia. The pharmacy resident will also serve as an Instructor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS-Boston and will gain teaching experience in a variety of settings.
Requirements
- A PharmD degree from a college or university accredited by ACPE
- Eligibility for MA pharmacy licensure
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pharmaceutical services within a managed care organization.
- Develop advanced knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical services.
- Assume leadership roles in managed care organization pharmacy services.
- Participate in experiences and rotations in key areas of clinical practice, administration, and academia.
