This role is for a Pharmacy Patient Financial Advocate on a 16-week seasonal contract to support the busy season. The primary duties include submitting prior authorizations for prescriptions or specialty medications, completing medication assistance or grant funding applications for patients, contacting insurance companies for status updates, and pulling chart notes from EPIC. The position requires a high school diploma with 3 years of relevant work experience or an Associate's degree with 1 year of relevant work experience. A pharmacy technician license is a plus but not required. The facility is nicotine-free, and pay is bi-weekly. New graduates are not accepted.
