About The Position
The Outpatient Retail Pharmacy Technician – Plaza 4 is responsible for assisting the pharmacist in a hospital system retail pharmacy located in a medical office building. The position will help the pharmacist by preparing prescriptions for verification, 3rd party claim adjudication, point of sale transactions, maintaining proper inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service. The Outpatient Retail Pharmacy Technician – Plaza 4 is a critical member of the healthcare team that will frequently coordinate with other hospital and clinic staff.
Requirements
- Hospital system retail pharmacy experience
- Experience preparing prescriptions for verification
- Experience with 3rd party claim adjudication
