About The Position

This role supports the execution of corporate-wide pharmacy strategies and the standardization of practices across the national network. The position involves assisting with various operational tasks, maintaining reports, supporting pharmacy initiatives, and collaborating on new product/program launches. The role also ensures necessary training is distributed and assists in maintaining pharmacy software for organizational standardization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Two or more years of related pharmacy experience
  • Experience in calculating benefit usage balances, co-pays, days of supply, and other health insurance mathematical calculations
  • Experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Extensive experience with Pharmacy Systems
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Ability to effectively cross-functionally collaborate amongst various business units

  • Post-Secondary Pharmacy Technician Program is preferred
  • Experience with pharmacy adjudication is an asset
  • Bilingualism, French/English is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of corporate-wide pharmacy strategies and the standardization of practices across the entire national network.
  • Address Innomar Pharmacies (IP) questions regarding fees, copays, delivery issues, inventory, reports, reconciliation, insurance audits, and compliance.
  • Maintain operational reports from Innomar Pharmacies, consolidate them for clients, review for accuracy, and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Assist with Pharmacy Initiatives, including retro-billing tracking, inventory and transaction reconciliation, issue resolution with pharmacies, and updating SOPs and process flows.
  • Assist in the launch of new products/programs by collaborating with Programs, Clinics, and Pharmacies, communicating program information, and providing feedback.
  • Provide typed documentation of all communications relevant to strategies, initiatives, and projects.
  • Ensure necessary training is distributed to Innomar Pharmacies and assist the training department with identifying employees requiring training and certifications.
  • Assist in maintaining pharmacy software to ensure standardization across the organization.
