About The Position
Provides pharmaceutical care to the patients of Regional Hospital of Scranton. Coordinates education and quality assurance and improvement activities for the department.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
- BLS certificate.
- At least one of the following required: Pharm.D. from ACPE- accredited school of pharmacy, ASHP-accredited residency, Certification from BPS or as a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, Certified Diabetes Educator, CE certificates of completion Of all 16 PSAP-II Pharmacotherapy Self-Assessment Clinical Units.
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials such as cytotoxic drugs and bulk chemicals.
Nice To Haves
- Pharm.D. preferred.
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency preferred.
- BPS certification preferred.
- At least 2 years of healthcare system pharmacy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
