About The Position
The Pharmacy Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operation of the Prior Authorization Department and its assigned staff, ensuring all contract requirements and business initiatives are completed successfully and timely. This role involves working closely with the CMO and Director of Pharmacy to ensure the Pharmacy Department functions as a high-quality unit, characterized by teamwork, cooperation, efficiency, innovation, and excellence. The manager also serves as a role model and mentor for their staff. Abrazo West Campus is a 200-bed acute care hospital recognized for providing exceptional, comprehensive care to patients in West Valley communities, offering advanced services including the da Vinci Xi surgical platform, Level I Trauma Center, Loop-X system, orthopedics, obstetrics, and cardiovascular care.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of the Prior Authorization Department and staff assigned.
- Ensures all contract requirements and business initiatives are completed successfully and timely.
- Works closely with the CMO and Director of Pharmacy to ensure that the Pharmacy Department is a highly functioning quality department, characterized by teamwork, cooperation, efficiency, innovation and excellence.
- Serves as a role model and mentor for assigned staff.
