About The Position
This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including the dispensing of prescribed medications, patient counseling, and education to promote optimal health outcomes. This position ensures strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Board of Pharmacy standards within a retail pharmacy environment. The Pharmacist-in-Charge will also provide functional supervision to both professional and support staff to promote efficient operations. Care is provided to patients of all ages, ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical services for diverse patient needs.
Requirements
- Valid Pharmacist license issued by the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience as a pharmacist
- Strong understanding of inventory control practices
- Proficiency in technology and retail pharmacy management systems
- Comprehensive understanding of state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy operations
- Experience with medical record-keeping requirements and procedures
