Pharmacy Manager (Off-Site Location) (Full-Time)
About The Position
The Pharmacy Manager oversees the daily operations of Larkin Pharmacy at Biscayne Medical, a retail pharmacy within Biscayne Medical Center. This role ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of prescription medications while delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and community members. The Pharmacy Manager provides leadership to pharmacy staff, ensures compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations, manages inventory and workflow, and collaborates with medical center providers and staff to support continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Current and active pharmacist license in good standing in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience, with retail pharmacy experience required and prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Immunization certification and authority to administer vaccines in accordance with Florida law.
- Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations, prescription processing, insurance billing, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems, dispensing software, and electronic prescribing platforms.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment within a medical center setting.
