About The Position

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for dispensing medications and related supplies, and providing all clinical pharmacy services. This role involves performing the duties of a staff pharmacist, as well as leading, directing, and supervising pharmacy staff to achieve goals. The manager will lead the team to meet and exceed financial targets, including payroll, sales, and clinical service expectations. A key aspect of this role is to model, coach, and maintain high standards in patient service. The manager will structure and organize workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services. Ensuring the team is fully trained across all pharmacy areas and utilizing performance appraisals for continuous improvement are also crucial. This position requires fostering an effective working relationship between the pharmacy and the general merchandise area of the store, and championing company programs for full implementation and daily execution. The role demands providing best-in-class service in pharmaceutical consulting, disease state management, medication therapy management, and administering immunizations. Ensuring appropriate, reliable, and consistent patient care through the distribution, control, and delivery of pharmaceuticals, in accordance with professional standards and state and federal law, is paramount.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharm D. in Pharmacy
  • North Dakota Pharmacy License
  • Current immunization certification

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services.
