Oversees daily pharmacy operations, including accurate medication dispensing, inventory management, and adherence to compounding and DEA regulations. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, while maintaining pharmacy policies and procedures to support patient safety and regulatory standards. Provides clinical pharmacy services such as medication therapy management, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare providers to optimize treatment outcomes. Recruits, trains, schedules, and supervises pharmacy staff, fostering professional development and maintaining efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Promotes pharmacy programs and initiatives, engaging with the community and healthcare partners to expand services and enhance patient care.

Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited pharmacy school.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid and active state Pharmacist licensure required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a pharmacy management role preferred.

Responsibilities
