About The Position

NeighborHealth, formerly East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, is a large community health center serving the greater Boston area with a commitment to patient and community health. This position is within the Retail Pharmacy - Maverick department, located at 10 Gove Street – Taylor Building.

Requirements

• BS degree in Pharmacy required.
• Valid license to practice pharmacy in MA.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of contemporary outpatient pharmacy systems, general clinical knowledge and expertise in traditional therapeutics and patient centered care.
• Excellent comprehension of written policies and procedures.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions, develop and complete follow-up actions.
• Ability to motivate and direct staff.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
• Attention to detail or organizational ability.
• Effective writing, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Computer literacy.
• English proficiency.
• Must complete a background check before beginning employment.

Nice To Haves

• PharmD degree helpful.
• Obtain CE credits needed for license renewal as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Department.
• Provides supervision for Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and all support staff.
• Responsible for oversight of all support services needed to support the department.
• Represents the Health Center and is an active member of the center’s management team.
