About The Position

The Pharmacy Manager leads pharmacy operations and serves as the pharmacist in charge, with responsibility for the pharmacy’s financial performance under the direction of the Division Pharmacy Manager. The role is part of a team providing direct patient care and wellness services, including disease state management, medication therapy optimization, patient-centered care, and assistance managing acute and chronic conditions. The Pharmacy Manager works in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment and may need to work a variety of schedules.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharm.D., or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
Active pharmacy license in the state or states of practice, with all held licenses in good standing.
Certified Immunizer required.
Ability to work a variety of schedules.

One year of supervisory experience in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Actively deliver patient care services.
Uphold operational standards, including performance metrics, safety, and compliance.
Recruit, train, and supervise the pharmacy team.
Partner with management to develop and implement initiatives to increase profitability.
Serve as pharmacist in charge and be responsible for the pharmacy’s financial performance.
