About The Position

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will perform tasks in your field of study or profession. Your work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. As an unpaid pharmacy intern, you will be an apprentice while completing formal education or immediately following graduation. You will understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating goals, including their linkages to related areas. You will make decisions regarding your own work methods with minimal direction and receive guidance where needed. You will follow established guidelines/procedures.

Requirements

• In last year of PharmD curriculum
• Active pharmacy intern license in good standing from state(s) where living/working
• Self-provided internet service with at minimum a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested for internet service.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Nice To Haves

• Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
