About The Position

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you work as part of the pharmacy team to support patient health and deliver care in a retail pharmacy. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you help maintain a safe and effective work environment and contribute to patient safety, professional pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification. You also support the adoption and management of patient care programs and are encouraged to provide patient immunizations once state regulations permit.

Requirements

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and the required timeframe.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to remain mobile and upright for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, scan, and bag items; occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs and exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, or negligible force constantly.
• Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing, or other work primarily involving fingers.
• Ability to reach overhead and extend hands and arms in multiple directions to place, move, or lift items.
• Ability to adjust machines to exact positions.
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist to move items between low and high positions.
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.
• Ability to communicate information and instructions orally to colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities
