About The Position

Responsible for the dispensing of medications to patients of Shands Hospital and the University of Florida Clinics, and for exercising professional judgment in evaluating all medication orders written for ambulatory patients under direct supervision of a pharmacist.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate typewriter, calculator and computer terminal.
• Must be able to work with others, speak and communicate effectively, and have a positive attitude.
• Must be accessible by telephone (provide a valid telephone number).
• Must be licensed as an intern by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be enrolled in an intern program at an accredited school or college of pharmacy or be a graduate of accredited school or college of pharmacy and not yet licensed as a pharmacist in the state.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in pharmacy practice desirable.
