Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacy Intern credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date preferred.
- High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
Responsibilities
- Deliver precise medication regimens to patient care areas, ensuring every patient receives the exact treatment they need at the right time.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to monitor and update patient profiles, ensuring care plans remain safe and effective throughout the patient’s stay.
- Empower medical staff and patients by providing clear, accessible medication education that improves health literacy and safety.
- Safeguard the community by maintaining meticulous documentation for controlled substances, ensuring full compliance and medication security.
- Support the clinical team through accurate medication compounding and dosing selections to meet the unique needs of complex patient cases.
