CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Interns apply their pharmacy-school learning in real-world practice to prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, interns complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to develop knowledge of store, district, and regional operations. Training and hands-on work cover patient safety and error prevention, quality assurance and drug utilization review, professional standards such as corresponding responsibility and red-flag detection, and effective pharmacy operations. Interns work with the pharmacy team to help fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately; provide caring service; and follow Standard Operating Procedures and best practices. As their tenure and readiness increase, they take on greater responsibility for pharmacy management, oversight, and operations. The role includes patient-facing service and counseling under pharmacist supervision, prescription processing, inventory tasks, team coaching, and additional health services where permitted by law and supported by required training. The position requires flexibility to support business needs, including working shifts at other market stores as needed. This part-time position is eligible for benefits and programs that support colleagues’ physical, emotional, and financial well-being. Depending on hours worked and eligibility, benefits include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs. The typical pay range is $23.75–$42.00.
