This is a FULL-TIME CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN position. The position summary may include filling prescriptions and labeling under the direction of a licensed pharmacist. The role assures a smooth and efficient fill process of Americare facilities resident prescriptions and/or non-affiliated resident’s prescriptions. The technician must be able to communicate pharmaceutical information and demonstrate professional behavior while adhering to HIPPA regulations regarding confidentiality. They will perform fill technician duties with an eye for detail and accuracy, communicate through verbal dialogue to supervisor areas of concern, and utilize technology including computer, software program, copier, etc. The role requires displaying professional and appropriate appearance and behavior at all times and adherence to the Americare Mission/Vision, Home Town Hospitality and F.A.M.I.L.Y. Values, Employee Culture Statement and Company Policy and Procedures.

- PTCB certification required
- TN registration
Responsibilities
- Assure smooth and efficient fill process of Americare facilities resident prescriptions and/or non-affiliated resident’s prescriptions.
- Ability to communicate pharmaceutical information and demonstrate professional behavior while adhering to HIPPA regulations regarding confidentiality.
- Perform fill technician duties with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communicate through verbal dialogue to supervisor areas of concern.
- Utilize technology including computer, software program, copier, etc.
