NORTH SMITHFIELD DISTRIBUTION CENTER RX GENERAL WAREHOUSE – EQUIPMENT OPERATOR – 3rd SHIFT Shift/Days/Hours: Monday - Friday 11:00PM – 7:00AM Position Summary: Responsible for a variety of general warehouse and housekeeping duties.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write and count accurately.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Ability to communicate clearly.
Responsibilities
- Required to train in various warehouse functions, including Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Stocking, Case-Picking, Piece-Picking, and Shipping.
- Move palletized merchandise using manual pallet jack, powered pallet jack, powered transporter, sit-down fork truck, and reach truck from various staging areas.
- Perform housekeeping responsibilities to include: sweeping (which may include using a powered sweeper/scrubber), emptying trash, and general cleaning.
- Accurate completion and timely submission of daily worksheet/operator checklist.
- Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
