About The Position

Become a part of our caring community The Pharmacy Engineering Technician 4 oversees logistics, fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, motors and systems. You will assume ownership and lead advanced and highly specialized duties. The Pharmacy Engineering Technician 4 main responsibilities: Ensure maintenance and continuous improvement of quality and industry standards. Evaluate mechanical products to determine cost effectiveness and efficiency, oversee and implement prescription drug distribution equipment and recommends design modifications to eliminate malfunctions, reduce cost-to-fill, increase throughput and improve quality. You will oversee parts inventory for the dispensing center. Perform and lead tests of related software and equipment to ensure operation and freedom from defects, and devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. You will make decisions regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group and external vendors including coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals. You will oversee work of others and/or is the primary administrative owner of a main process, program, product or technology. You will report to the Supervisor of Pharmacy Engineering. Requirements

  • 6 or more years of experience working in an industrial environment with automated equipment maintenance
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment for minimal downtime
  • Ability to work independently in a project/task completion driven environment
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time for educational and related business
  • Must be willing to work overtime, some weekends and evenings required based on needs
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to the CenterWell Pharmacy facility in Orlando, FL

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PLC (Programmable logic controller) devices, control networks, software and applications
  • Strong hands on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • 1 or more years of experience with read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, testing, and startup
  • 1 or more years of experience reading and interpreting manufacturer instructions regarding repair and maintenance of automated equipment
  • Experience troubleshooting and determining causes of failure to perform corrective actions (I.E.. Motors, relays, switches, servos, VFDs, and other sensing devices)
  • Experience with conveyance systems
