About The Position

The Pharmacy Director will oversee outpatient pharmacy operations in Lynchburg, Virginia, and serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge. The role manages pharmacy staff, regulatory compliance, dispensing operations, inventory management, and the 340B program while combining clinical pharmacy practice with operational leadership.

The Pharmacy Director will collaborate with clinical and financial leadership, including the Chief Medical Officer, to improve medication access and patient outcomes and to develop and strengthen pharmacy services in an underserved community.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active, unrestricted Virginia pharmacist license.
• DEA registration.
• At least 3 years of pharmacist experience.
• Ability to serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations, compliance, and dispensing operations.
• Comfort overseeing pharmacy staff and daily operations.
• Values independent leadership, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
