About The Position

Siouxland Community Health Center has 1 opening for a Pharmacy Courier. This role involves distributing prescriptions to patients via delivery or curbside, verifying patient information, and serving as a courier between the Sioux City and South Sioux City locations. The position also includes cashier duties such as collecting patient payments, reconciling payments and cash drawers, and reviewing account statements with patients. Additionally, the role requires demonstrating initiative in offering suggestions for workflow and process improvements, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Cashiering Experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Distribute prescriptions to patients by delivery or curbside.
• Verify patient name, birth date, and address.
• Serve as courier between Sioux City and South Sioux City location.
• Collect patient payments.
• Reconcile payments and cash drawer to daily deposits at end of day.
• Review account statements with patient and answer general billing questions.
• Utilizing first-hand knowledge of assigned tasks and responsibilities, demonstrate initiative in offering proactive suggestions for improvements in departmental workflow and processes.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
