Responsibilities

Handle cash register transactions and accurately enter sales information.
Prepare daily cash drawer reports.
Provide accurate and timely assistance to customers.
Manage credit card transactions.
Refer patients/customers to the pharmacist when appropriate.
Assist customers with prescriptions and/or other products.
Complete special orders to meet customer needs.
Respond to customer/co-worker questions or concerns in an appropriate and customer-focused manner.
Receive prescriptions from patients and record proper patient information.
Ensure the correct medication, supplies, and equipment are received by the patient.
Deliver items to patients, physician’s offices, nursing stations, long-term care facilities, and other areas as assigned.
Package and mail/UPS/Quicksilver items appropriately.
Manage prescription signature log.
Order, receive, price, and put stock into inventory.
Display products in the store to be visually pleasing.
Ensure each product has a POS shelf label.
Provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of the population served.
