About The Position

Under the general direction of Director, Pharmacy, works with the pharmacy inpatient buyer and provides drug buying support for Kadlec owned outpatient clinics. Remains responsible for working with clinic staff to monitor medication stock levels, execute purchase orders, maintain compliance with 340B/WAC purchasing for 340B child sites and usual buying practices for non-340B clinics. Assists with pharmacy information system maintenance activities. Organizes purchase invoices and initiates payment for completed purchases. Other administrative clerical tasks may be assigned to this position at the Pharmacy Director's discretion. On a fill in/as needed basis, the clinic buyer technician may also assist with standard pharmacy technician duties.

Requirements

• Completion of a Washington State approved pharmacy technician training program.
• Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
• 3 years of pharmacy technician experience with 4000 hours of pharmacy work experience.
