Requirements
- 3 years purchasing or Pharmacy related field
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Responsibilities
- Procures pharmaceuticals, supplies, and equipment on a routine or emergency basis by utilizing automated ordering devices or manual methods
- Ensures receipt of all orders and placement of these products into their appropriate location within the Pharmacy and the location
- Verifies and processes all invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and stock requisitions within the department
- Maintains system of all purchase transactions, current contracts, ordering information, usage information, federal forms and company catalogs
- Operates the cash register, receiving funds in payment of prescription, OTC sales, and other purchases.
