About The Position

Come join an exciting and innovative company that puts the “care” back in healthcare! Our Pharmacy Billing Specialists start the process and simply put, submit claims for payment. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and billing of pharmacy benefit claims. This will include all the major Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) companies for acute and chronic therapies to include IVIg, TPN’s and antibiotics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10 and CPT codes
• 2+ years of pharmacy billing experience

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy and appropriateness of claim type, diagnosis codes, place of service, procedure codes, HCPC or NDC units for drugs, per diem, proper use of modifiers, and dates of service
• Certifies the accuracy and completeness of PBM requirements prior to timely submission of clean claims
• Manages Billing Que status code to track unbilled delivery ticket(s) and maintains Reimbursement Pending Item Report
