The Pharmacy Automation Technician is responsible for the set-up and safe operation of designated production equipment in CareTria / KnippeRx Pharmacy fulfillment. Responsibilities will include feeding supplies, including drug products and packaging materials, into the machines, and ensuring the hoppers are equally fed with raw materials so that the machines are running at capacity. The Pharmacy Automation Technician will be able to diagnose and treat some mechanical problems, making minor repairs or adjustments and replacing machine components utilized in production. Ongoing monitoring of the output is necessary to confirm the machines are operating as expected, and to produce the final product that complies with Pharmacy Quality standards.
