About The Position
The Pharmacy Assistant is an entry-level opportunity on the MultiCare Pharmacy team. In this role, you will support the pharmacy through maintaining supplies, billing and filing. This position can be hybrid remote, hourly, and dedicated to MAC challenges. Provide dedicated daily capacity for MAC challenge identification, documentation, submission, follow-up and reporting across all 12 MultiCare pharmacy retail locations.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Pharmacy Assistant license from the Washington State Board of Pharmacy
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year of previous work experience in a retail pharmacy preferred
Responsibilities
- Count, pour and label prescriptions as designated by the pharmacist on duty
- Run inventory and order supplies
- Participate in departmental meetings, projects and other needs
- Handle sales transactions for prescriptions and other merchandise
