Requirements

Experience handling pharmacare claims and adjudication issues
Knowledge of pharmaceutical math
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able and willing to work at our Oakbank Pharmacy as required

Nice To Haves

Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant training program an asset

Responsibilities

Greet customers and confirm accuracy of all patient and prescription information prior to filling.
Assist with cashiering responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy.
Comply with all government standards, regulations and policies and procedures applicable to the Pharmacy.
Assist in ensuring timely and accurate completion of third-party processing, billing, re-submissions, and reporting.
Refer general OTC inquiries to Pharmacist where required and necessary.
Ensure Patient privacy and confidentiality is protected in accordance with Beausejour Co-op policies and legal regulations.
Maintain a display of products ensuring facing, filling and organization of products meets company standards.
Other duties as required.
